The unique location at the dunes, in the middle of the pleasant Cadzand-Bad, is one of our greatest assets. From the rooms you have a vast sea view toward Vlissingen and Knokke.
On a clear day you can see the fascinating port of Zeebrugge and the high dunes of the coast of Walcheren on the other side. From the balconies you can follow the busy shipping traccif at the North Sea and the Western Schelde. One of the biggest sea-going vessels passing by.
Is the weather less inviting to go to the beach? Then cities like Bruges, Knokke, Ghent and Sluis offer you a fine and cultural alternative to spend your day in an enjoyable way.
Welcome to Pure C.
I created the concept for this restaurant by holding up a mirror to myself: where would I like to eat and drink cocktails? In this unique location I wanted to see a light-hearted, dynamic business with a holiday atmosphere: a little like Ibiza on the North Sea with funky music playing in the background.
A restaurant serving high-quality cooking, accessible to everyone, where you get good value for your money. A place with professional and passionate staff, dressed in hip clothes, who will serve you with a smile. This is a restaurant where guests share food, which creates a special kind of dynamic and a relaxed atmosphere at the table.
To have achieved a Michelin star just one and a half years after opening for a concept which is neither Flemish nor Dutch makes me particularly proud. This is the restaurant of the future for me, the kind of place where quality on the plate goes hand in hand with a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Let yourself be convinced by this extraordinary place on the mighty North Sea and experience Pure C.”
Syrco Bakker (1984) has been one of Sergio Herman’s pillars for some time now. Trained under chefs such as Jean-Georges Klein, Jonnie Boer and Gordon Ramsay, he is now in charge of Pure C’s kitchen staff. Syrco Bakker exudes work ethic, zeal and inexhaustible creativity.
Being awarded a Michelin star in 2011 has already made it clear: Syrco’s cooking is part of the gastronomic premier league.

The way he cooks at Pure C is superior, exciting and flavourful. The biggest proof of his talent is having earned the first Michelin star for Pure C, eighteen months after opening, completely on his own merit. He is one of my great promises, based on quality, commitment and character.”

We could send you a gift card by post. The gift card can be used in the hotel as well as in the restaurant. The amount of the gift card could be determined yourself.
The gift voucher could be paid by sending us your full credit card details (number and expiry date of Visa or Mastercard) via firstname.lastname@example.org. There is an extra charge of € 12,00 for sending the gift card (by registered post). Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay the voucher by bank transfer.
Naturally, it is also possible to receive the voucher personally at the reception of the Strandhotel / Pure C.
If you would like to book an overnight stay, you can mention this in your reservation.

Take the “Zeeuws Vlaanderen” exit (this is the second exit after the Kennedytunnel travelling towards Rotterdam/Brugge). Follow the signs for Zelzate/Knokke-Heist (N49). Continue to follow the N49 and turn right at the T-junction before Knokke (McDonalds); towards Sluis. At the first obscured bend to the right, turn left towards Retranchement. Turn left before the bridge towards Cadzand-Bad. Continue on this road until you enter Cadzand-Bad. Turn left onto the Boulevard de Wielingen just passed the Noordzee and Wielingen hotels. The Strandhotel can be found half way along this road on the left hand side.
Take the A58 towards Vlissingen. Then take the N62 towards Terneuzen. When you leave the tunnel, take the N61 towards Breskens. Follow signs for Oostburg as soon as you see them. Follow signs for Cadzand once you have arrived in Oostburg. You will see a mill on your right hand side as you enter Cadzand. Turn right towards Cadzand-Bad just after the mill. You will arrive at Cadzand-Bad via the Boulevard de Wielingen after approximately 2 kms. The Strandhotel can be found half way along this road on the right hand side.
